– growing Kingdom leaders

‘connected’ Leadership Conference

The Irish Mission’s ‘connected’ Leadership Conference for elders, leaders and pastors, was held from March 22-24, 2024, at the Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise, Co Laois. Keynote speakers for the conference included Pastor Daniel Duda, Petar Popivanov, Victoria Afolayan and HSE chaplain, Stephen Wilson.

The focus of the Conference was to grow the mindset, skillset and unity of the 65 leaders gathered from across the island of Ireland, through a mixture of insightful presentations, leadership interactions and spiritual moments together.

Starting on Saturday morning, the Irish Mission President Pastor Dan Serb welcomed the participants and introduced the speakers. Following, Pastor Adam Keough, Executive Secretary for the Irish Mission shared the purpose and vision for the conference, “Our desire is for this Leadership Conference to be a place where you get to know one another, listed to one another, hear one another, and therefore, trust between leaders grows across the Mission.

During the Conference one or more elders or church leaders from all the churches represented, had an opportunity to share about the history, current membership profile, strengths and current challenges of their local church, with the outcome being that the gathered leaders became more aware of the other local congregations which make up the Irish Mission.
