Faithful in tithes and offerings

In response to the many enquiries as to how you can continue to return your tithe and offerings, see information below and a file showing other ways of giving besides the traditional method of returning your donations through envelopes and offering baskets.

This week, the British Union Conference President announced the difficult decision to suspend all church services in light of the developing situation around coronavirus.  This is an unprecedented move in our church history.  As a people of faith, we will continue to worship together in other ways and forms such as livestreaming, in small groups or with our own families.

In response to the many enquiries as to how you can continue to return your tithe and offerings, see information below and a file showing other ways of giving besides the traditional method of returning your donations through envelopes and offering baskets.

Gift Aid

If you are not yet registered for Gift Aid, you can do so by completing our online form. It doesn't cost you to be Gift Aid registered but allows us to receive 25% more income from a donation, when its made by a UK taxpayer. In other words, we can claim 25p of tax on every £1 that is given to the Irish Mission.

1. T&O Return to IM bank account 

Republic of Ireland

Northern Ireland

Reference: Name and GA number if they have 

Email: abarki@adventist.uk , if there is any breakdown and there local church name. For example, Member transferred £200 into our account. £150 is tithe and £50 is local offering. If they email us we will process it accordingly and if we are not sure we will treat the whole amount as tithe. The local amount will be credited into their trust (deposit) account which later can be transferred to local church bank account, upon request of the treasurer.

2. T&O Return via BUC Website (PayPal)

3. T&O Return via local church bank account 

Members can return their T&O into local church bank account, and let their treasurer know the breakdown so they can transfer the tithe to IM, when they prepare their monthly T&O report.

4. Sending Cheque to BUC 

Members can post their cheques to BUC, along with the note, giving us the breakdown, address, church they want their church to be shown and we will process accordingly.

5. Members can call BUC office and return their T&O, using their Bank card.
