Women Across Ireland Unite for Day of Fellowship
“I Will Go.” These words weren’t just a theme—they were a prayer, a declaration, and a renewed commitment for the 70 women who gathered at the Horse & Jockey Hotel in Tipperary for the 2025 Irish Mission Women's Day of Fellowship.
Women from across Ireland came together in unity for a powerful day of worship, connection, and spiritual growth. The event was marked by heartfelt praise, meaningful fellowship, and deep spiritual reflection.

The day began with a stirring morning session led by guest speaker Trudy Lewis, who unpacked the theme “I Will Go” by guiding attendees through three key questions:
- Who am I?
- What’s my resolve?
- Am I really willing to go where God is leading?
This message called each woman to examine her identity in Christ, evaluate her spiritual commitment, and renew her willingness to follow God—wherever He may lead.
After a delicious lunch at the hotel, they gathered for the afternoon session, where the focus shifted to the real-life challenge of balancing faith with everyday responsibilities. Trudy addressed the tension between serving God, managing a family, and dealing with the ongoing demands of life. She emphasized the difference between what is urgent and what is important, urging women to put first things first: "When we prioritise God, He makes us His priority," she shared—a message that struck a deep chord with many.

The impact of the day was evident in the testimonies shared by attendees. Ellie Fortunato, from Limerick Church, expressed: "It's such a great privilege to be able to come together with so many women who share the same faith, the same beliefs, the same purpose that I do too. It just makes me feel like I'm part of something bigger, a bigger community."
Janete Azevedo, from Waterford Church, reflected on the spiritual richness of the program:
"I just loved the message. It was amazing how the message could go into my heart. I love the music—they sing so well—and I'm really happy to be part of this today."

The Irish Mission is grateful to Trudy Lewis, the Women’s Ministries team, and every woman who brought her presence, energy, and faith to this special day. Whether through prayer, music, reflection, or testimony, the spirit of “I Will Go” was alive and active.
May each woman continue to walk boldly in her calling, placing God first and trusting Him with the journey ahead.
The next event of the Women's Ministries Department is the retreat in September:

We warmly invite all women across the Irish Mission to join us for this special weekend of spiritual renewal, connection, and encouragement. Don’t miss this opportunity to pause, reflect, and respond to God’s call—“Here I Am.” We look forward to seeing you there!
