Irish Mission Introduces Town Hall Meetings to Strengthen Communication and Engagement
The Irish Mission is taking an important step forward in strengthening communication, transparency, and community involvement by introducing regular Town Hall Meetings.
As part of the ongoing journey toward Conference status, the TED Survey Team recommended that the wider membership be more informed and engaged in this process. In response, the Irish Mission leadership has committed to creating intentional spaces where members, attendees, and the wider public can stay informed and share their perspectives.
What is a Town Hall Meeting?
A town hall meeting is an open forum where leadership and the community come together to discuss important matters, share updates, and listen to feedback. It is a space designed to encourage dialogue, build understanding, and foster a spirit of collaboration.
In the context of the Irish Mission, these meetings will provide an opportunity for leadership to present key developments while also giving participants the chance to ask questions, express ideas, and contribute to the conversation.
A Space for Listening and Participation
Two Town Hall Meetings will be held each year, creating a consistent and accessible platform for engagement. These gatherings are designed to be open, inclusive, and welcoming to all—members, attendees, and anyone interested in the life and future of the Church in Ireland.
The meetings will be held online via Zoom, making it easy for individuals across the island to participate. Attendees will also have the flexibility to join or leave as needed, ensuring accessibility for all schedules.
Looking Ahead: 2026 Meeting Dates
The following dates have been set for 2026:
12 May 2026 (7:00–9:00 PM) – with a special focus on the Mission to Conference process
10 November 2026 (7:00–9:00 PM)
