The West-of-Ireland family camp has become one of the largest and most popular events on the Irish Mission Calendar.

Every year, during the Bank Holiday weekend at the beginning of August, the West-of-Ireland churches gather together at the Kilnasoolagh camp site near Newmarket-on-Fergus for a family camp. The camp has been growing in popularity and has attracted several high profile speakers. This year, Pastor Pavel Goia was the speaker and on Sabbath well in excess of 250 people gathered to listen to him. He preached about grace, and total commitment. He also told the inspiring story of how he became the pastor of the fastest growing church in the North American division.

Many people choose to spend the weekend in tents on the camp grounds. This year a torrential downpour on Sunday afternoon soaked a few people's bedding, but this did little to dampen the spirit of fun and fellowship at the camp.

Another feature of the camp this year was the children's programme that was organised by Helena from the Cork church. The children enjoyed scavenger hunts and various other exciting activities.

Below is a selection of photos taken by one member, Lech Kujawa, who spent the weekend at the family camp.
