Fundraising Concert in Drogheda Brings Churches Together in Support of Building Project

On April 25, 2026, members of Blanchardstown congregation travelled to Drogheda to support a special fundraising concert for the local church building project. The event brought together churches from different areas in a wonderful display of unity, fellowship, and shared mission.

The concert featured a variety of inspiring musical performances from groups and soloists, creating an uplifting and joyful atmosphere throughout the programme. Among those taking part were the Drogheda Church Choir, Portlaoise Chorus, and the Blanchardstown Orchestra, alongside the Blanchardstown Ukulele Ensemble, The Teens, Ladies Chorus, and gifted soloists including Medad and young Zia.

The evening was a beautiful reminder of how music can bring people together in worship and service. Members, visitors, and supporters enjoyed a programme filled with praise, encouragement, and community spirit, while also supporting an important cause for the Drogheda congregation.

Through the generosity of those who attended and supported the event, nearly €3,000 was raised towards the church building project. The success of the concert reflected not only the dedication and talent of those involved, but also the strong spirit of cooperation and support shared among the churches.

The event left many encouraged and thankful, highlighting the positive impact that fellowship, music ministry, and collective effort can have when churches work together with a shared purpose.
