Churches in the West of Ireland Gather for Day of Fellowship

On 27th September 2025, around 200 members and friends from across the West of Ireland gathered in Newmarket-on-Fergus for a special Day of Fellowship. The theme running through the day was a call to live lives that reflect God’s presence, showing His love even without words.

The event began with Sabbath School, where all age groups participated in Bible study and reflection. Children, teens, and adults engaged in lessons tailored to their age, setting the tone for a meaningful day of spiritual growth.

The midday service featured inspiring music from the praise team and a mass choir, children’s stories, special items, and a focus on mission through Hope Media. Pastor Clayton Maurede served as the guest speaker, bringing a heartfelt message. Reflecting on the story of David’s anointing as king, he posed a searching question: “How many people would see God without you even opening your mouth?”

Pastor Maurede encouraged everyone present to live lives that point others to Christ and to surrender their hearts completely to God.

The afternoon session continued with worship, and a closing message from Pastor Maurede, followed by a time for questions and answers.

The Day of Fellowship was not only a time of worship but also an opportunity to strengthen connections across churches in the region. With lunch shared together and moments of prayer and praise, the day reminded participants of the joy of belonging to a wider family of faith.
