Children Lead the Way in Special Bible Presentation at Limerick Church
On Saturday, 4 October, the Limerick Adventist Church enjoyed a special program in place of the usual sermon. The children of our congregation presented the story of the Israelites’ journey from Egypt to the Promised Land, under the leadership of Moses and Joshua.
Introducing the program, Carla Tiltscher, director of the Children’s Sabbath School Department in Limerick, explained the meaning behind the children’s involvement: “Sometimes people may wonder why the children are speaking in place of the pastor. But we believe that children have a powerful way of sharing God’s Word in their own way.”

Through short acted out scenes, the children brought the story to life. They performed the hardship of slavery in Egypt, the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea, God’s provision in sending manna down from heaven, the help of Rahab, the fall of the walls of Jericho, and at last, the joy of reaching the Promised Land.

The congregation responded with smiles, encouragement, and heartfelt appreciation. For some children, it was their very first time speaking in front of the church. Yet their enthusiasm reminded us that God can use every member, young and old, to share His message.
As the program came to a close, many were inspired not only by the story of the Israelites but also by the living example of our children, stepping forward in faith to serve.
