On April 20th and May 2nd Ballinacrow Sda Church had online Zoom concerts of praise and verse. About 10 families came together and shared their songs of praise. We enjoyed some instrumentals by the children including a reel and some harmonica music.
Unlike other concerts that are more formal these were relaxed and informal. We got to see lovely babes singing from their high chairs and Mom’s and Dad’s sitting in the sunshine.
In times like these when we have to fight the tendency to hide and go into mental isolation it’s important to allow God to speak to us, make an effort to virtually come together and like David of old express ourselves in song.
We know not the hour when the master is coming so stand like the brave and know that faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Until then my heart will go on singing and I will listen to that heavenly music that sweeps over the see and
when sorrows like sea billows roll
what ever my lot thou has taught me to say
it is well, it is well with my soul.
